AMC Announces ‘Breaking Bad’ To Return For 6th Season

Rumours are circulating that popular TV show Breaking Bad is returning for a sixth season, with a “plot twist”.

According to website Empire News.net who “broke” the “story”, creator Vince Gilligan was quoted as saying …

It’s true, we did decide to come back for another round with Walt. Better Call Saul is going to be able to stand on its own, but there is more to Walt’s story. He hasn’t died just yet.

It seems we’re taking on a now all-too-familiar role of being the people to burst the bubble when we say that the news is entirely bogus. Empire News is a fake news “fauxtire” website that publishes nonsense and justifies it by calling it satire (it’s really not satire at all.) Gilligan did not utter the words as quoted by the article – it is entirely made up. Sorry about that.

There has been no mention of a sixth season by creator Vince Gilligan. This same rumour spread earlier in the year and has returned in almost identical fashion.
