A video is circulating the Internet that purports to show CNN host Anderson Cooper laughing uncontrollably during an interview with Trump advisor Kellyanne Conway.
In the video (below), Kellyanne Conway claims press secretary Sean Spicer gave “alternative facts” to the size of Trump’s inauguration crowd and that there was no way to quantify the size of the crowd, during which Anderson Cooper begins to laugh uncontrollably.
The video (which has accumulated well over a million views on YouTube) is actually a spoof, and while both Kellyanne Conway and Anderson Cooper’s respective interviews were real, they were not with each other, as the video clearly tries to imply that they were.
Kellyanne Conway’s now notorious “alternative facts” interview was with Chuck Todd, not Anderson Cooper. Todd did not burst into uncontrollable laughter as seen here with Anderson Cooper.
And Anderson Coopers giggling fit was taken from a “Ridiculist” segment when he was reporting on a Polish tradition known as ‘Dyngus Day’, a tradition that is celebrated by “boys throwing water over girls they like and spanking them with pussy willows“.
