Babysitter Transported to Hospital After Inserting a Baby in Her Vagina? Fake news

If you’ve been disgusted by rumours that claim a babysitter was transported to hospital after inserting a baby into her vagina, then you’re not alone since these stories have been travelling virally across the Internet.

A portion of this bizarre tale reads –

Cincinnati, Ohio | A 31-year old woman was admitted to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center yesterday after the 14-month old toddler she was babysitting got stuck in her vaginal cavity.
Latifah Brown called 911 around 9:30 PM last night, reporting that she had a baby stuck in her vagina.
The operator first assumed that she was giving birth at home and dispatched an ambulance to the site.
The paramedics had quite a surprise when they arrived on the site and saw what was actually happening.

You may be relieved to know that the story isn’t real, and it comes from one of the most visited fake news websites on the Internet, worldnewsdailyreport.com (though has since been republished on other fake news/clickbait websites.)

That’s a spoof news website that makes a living by creating nonsense stories and printing them in a way to make readers believe they are genuine.

If readers couldn’t guess that the stories were not real just by reading them, the site does have a disclaimer –

WNDR assumes however all responsibility for the satirical nature of its articles and for the fictional nature of their content. All characters appearing in the articles in this website – even those based on real people – are entirely fictional and any resemblance between them and any persons, living, dead, or undead is purely a miracle.

Of course, many readers only glance at the headline or read merely the first paragraph or so and assume the story is real. Of course, this is something that we’re trying to get people to stop doing!

Thus the site is just another example of a fake news “fauxtire” site, and we wouldn’t really recommend spreading it any further.
