The email prankster that last month fooled several top aides at the White House simply by sending them emails disguised as other White House staffers has struck again, this time targeting right-wing politics blog Breitbart.
And once again is demonstrates how easy it is for email pranksters to conjure up pranks simply by setting up email accounts using the same name of famous or high profile people.
It’s only been a few weeks since email prankster and self-professed “lazy anarchist” @Sinon_Reborn tricked Anthony Scaramucci, Tom Bossert and [briefly] Eric Trump into thinking he was various other White House staffers including Reince Priebus.
And now he’s struck again, only now the target is co-editors of Breibart, Alex Marlow and Joel Pollak.

Posing as fired White House strategist and returning exec-chairman Steve Bannon, the prankster, who uses the Twitter handle Sinon_Reborn, tricked both Marlow and Pollak into sending various revealing emails.
One such email sent from Alex Marlow included a [very] personal insult against Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump. Another email from Alex Marlow claimed he would have the pair ousted from the White House before the end of the year. He also claimed that he, along with several other editors, were willing to do Bannon’s “dirty work” to make it happen.
Co-editor Joel Pollak was also caught out saying that none knew what Ivanka or Jared actually did in the White House.
The prankster told us earlier this month that he finds the emails of his targets online or by Googling the format a company uses for their emails.
If you want a full low-down on the pranks, you can visit the prankster’s Twitter feed directly here.
Remember, just because you think you’re talking to someone through email, it doesn’t mean it’s actually them. Don’t get caught out like these Breibart editors.
