A warning is spreading on Facebook that advises parents to watch out for their kids making a surreptitious sign with their hands that – according to the warning – means they’re covertly asking someone is they have any drugs.
An example includes –
PARENTS BE WARNED:
This is not a joke! This is a sign our kids are using nowadays for drug communication of cocaine and acid! If your kid does this hand sign it’s their way of asking “do you have the goods?” please spread this to other parents! My 10 year old little Susan and her friends were caught up in this and thankfully the wife and I caught it and got them all the help and support they needed.
For those not in on the joke, it isn’t meant to be taken seriously. This sign (in the image above) is actually from a long running, seemingly endless prank/game where the aim is to trick others into looking at the hand signal you are making, where upon successful completion, gives the hand-signaller permission to “punch” the person they tricked into looking.
Juvenile, yes. But it certainly has nothing to do with drugs.
