Did Donald trump release phallic Christmas card? Fact Check

An image purporting to show a rather phallic Trump Christmas Card is spreading on social media claiming to be Donald Trump’s 2021 Christmas card.

FALSE

An example of the card as it was shared on social media is below.

Many have noted that the card features an apparently unintentional phallic image, omits Barron Trump and refers to Mar-a-Lago as the “Winter White House”.

Despite the claims, this is not an official Trump Christmas card. The graphic has not been shared by any official entities relating to Trump or the Trump Organisation, and it contains digitally altered images from Trump’s visit to the UK.

The main image of Donald Trump was taken from his trip to Buckingham Palace, as per the photo below. You can see that his shirt has been digitally altered on the Christmas card to highlight the… desired effect.

A number of “blue ticked” Twitter accounts fell for the prank, including the Executive Editor of Occupy Democrats Grant Stern who later deleted the tweet and posted an apology.

We rank the claim that this shows Trump’s Christmas card for 2021 as false.
