Coronavirus Hoaxes and Rumours

Did Sky News taken down news report video about the coronavirus? Fact Check

A YouTube video claims that a Sky News report about treating coronavirus patients at the Cremona Hospital in Lombardy in Italy was taken down.

FALSE

The YouTube video, titled “Sky news vid that got taken down” has accrued over two million views in only 2 days. It shows doctors and nurses at the hospital treating coronavirus patients. Many of them – according to the narrator, would probably pass away as a result of the virus.

However the video has not been taken down by Sky News, or anyone else. The video is still available on their website and their app. The report can be seen on the Sky News website here.

As such, we rank the claim false.
