Does a video show escaped Paris terrorists shot by police?
A video claiming to show the bodies of the Paris attackers after being shot by police isn’t real and shows the aftermath of a bank robbery in Itupeva, Brazil.
The video shows what appears to be mobile phone camera capturing a video of a crashed car with what appears to be a deceased man inside. Two other men lay next to the car. One apparently dead and the other still alive as police remove his Kevlar jacket and balaclava.
The video is spreading across Facebook under various captions including “Pairs shooting killer has been arrested.” [sic] and ” PARIS,two terrorist killed and one cought live… (FEEL FREE TO SHARE)” [sic].
However despite these claims, the video does not show anyone involved with the Paris attacks. In fact the video surfaced on the Internet before the Paris attacks even happened on Friday 13th November 2015. It is the aftermath of a bank robbery in Itupeva in Brazil, where the bank robbers were shot by police.

The story first appeared online a week before the attacks on the 7th November 2015 as you can see from this link (WARNING: Link contains graphic images.)
At the time of writing, authorities are currently trying to locate one known accomplice to the Paris attacks – a man named Salah Abdeslan – as well as a number of other suspects, though their identities are not known to the public at this time.
The video does not show any of these men, and thus continuing to share this information is not recommended.
