FALSE

Kuwait on Saturday recorded the highest temperatures in the world; reaching upto 63 degrees Celsius under direct sunlight, according to Al Qabas newspaper.

Cars melting in Arizona

The above photo has over the years been attributed to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Arizona. However despite the claims, it does not show cars that have melted because of the hot temperatures that occurred naturally during the day.

The image shows the aftermath of a fire at a construction site in Tucson in Arizona in June 2018. The photo really does show cars that melted, though it was the extreme heat in a nearby building that caused the melting, not a heatwave.
