The post was published by a Facebook page named First Choice Holidays. The page also asks users to click a link to “submit their email” so they can be notified if they are a winner.

The Facebook page is a scam. The page isn’t run by First Choice Holidays, the travel company, despite clearly masquerading as them. The real First Choice Facebook page as the blue verification tick showing it is the legitimate page.
Additionally those who share the Facebook post won’t win a holiday to Costa Rica. This is a ruse to lure Facebook users into sharing the post to their friends so it goes viral across Facebook.

And finally, the link users are urged to click actually leads to a spammy marketing website that baits visitors into giving up their contact information so they can be relentlessly spammed through SMS, email, phone and postal.
