Fake photo spreads showing Kim Jong Un reading “Fire and Fury”
An image is spreading across social media claiming to show the leader of North Korea, Kim Jong Un, reading a copy of the controversial book surrounding the Trump administration, Fire and Fury by Michael Wolff.
The image, that has been widely shared on both Twitter and Facebook as well as a number of other platforms, shows a grinning Jong Un holding the book.
Fire and Fury is a controversial book from Michael Wolff that claims to offer an inside look into the “stormy, outrageous – and absolutely mesmerising” first nine months of the Trump presidency. Trump subsequently responded to the book by calling Wolff a “total loser” who “made up stories in order to sell this really boring and untruthful book.” However the book has become an instant best seller.

And now this image of Kim Jong Un reading the book has been spread across social media. Trump and Jong Un are in the midst of a well-publicised war of words that have included flippant mentions of nuclear war.
The image, however, isn’t real. As you can see below, the image (number 1, below) was comprised of two different images, numbers 2 and 3 below.
It appears someone has taken two separate photos and made them into one composite. It’s not real.
