Facebook and WhatsApp users should be on the lookout for fake posts and messages spreading claiming to offer free Legoland tickets.
On Facebook, a post from August 2018 reads –
Every Single Person Who SHARES & Comments In The Next 24 Hours Will Get 4 Free Legoland Tickets
This is another fake competition scam spreading on Facebook, that attempts to lure Facebook users to spammy marketing websites looking to harvest the personal details of visitors so it can spam them via SMS, email and phone.
As is typical with such scams, the post – in one case published by an anonymous page titled Vouchers Club UK – urges viewers to share and comment on the post so it can spread between friends on Facebook.

The post also includes a link to a spammy marketing website. Those who click the link and enter their details can expect to be spammed relentlessly by any marketing company the website shares its collected data with.
And there isn’t any free Legoland tickets on offer here – and this certainly isn’t an official promotion from Legoland. We recommend avoiding such posts on Facebook.
