Melania Trump thong visible during ceremony? Fake picture

The following photo is being spread across social media along with the assertion that this photo is of the current First Lady, Melania Trump.

Example below –

Despite the caption, the photo is fake. Not only has it been digitally altered to add the underwear, the photo is also not of the First Lady. The original image can be seen below.

The photo is actually of an Italian lawmaker of the name Maria Elena Boschi, the then-Minister for Constitutional Reforms and Relations, during her swearing in ceremony in 2014. A handful of other photos of Boschi at the event can be seen here.
