This is what happens when you Google Thanos today…
No doubt millions of people are eagerly and impatiently awaiting the latest Avengers movie out today, Avengers: Endgame.
And Google, not a company to let hype pass it by, has produced a pretty cool Easter Egg to celebrate the imminent arrival of one of the most hotly anticipated movies of all time. (In case you’re not familiar with the term Easter Egg in this context, it means a hidden or secret feature hidden somewhere intended as a joke or bonus.)
To check this particular Avengers-themed Easter Egg out, just head to Google and type in Thanos, the name of the villain in the movies. You can do it on either desktop or mobile Google, but desktop looks best.
After hitting enter, you’ll be presented with the usual search results page that you’d expect after tying in Thanos. Only there is a little golden glove icon on the right hand side. An Infinity Gauntlet. Click it, and sit back and watch as the Easter Egg takes effect.
What actually happens is below. So read on or just go and do it now.

After clicking the icon, your screen scrolls up and down itself as you watch the search results disintegrate right before your eyes, one by one, all to some cool yet creepy special sound effects. And then the search results tick down, to 50,000,000.
Resetting is easy. Just hit the icon again, or refresh the page.
Pretty cool.
