The Last Line of Defense is a self-confessed fake news website. In it’s About us section the site notes –

The Resistance may include information from sources that may or may not be reliable and facts that don’t necessarily exist. All articles should be considered satirical and any and all quotes attributed to actual people complete and total baloney. Pictures that represent actual people should be considered altered and not in any way real.

The authors of the site also suggest their content should not be taken seriously within the articles themselves. Eagled-eyed readers would have taken note of the author byline that contains nonsensical titles such as “Everything Bagels With Cream Cheese” and “Free Soup“.

As such, none of the articles it publishes should be considered genuine. However many fake news sites republish the content published by TheLastLineOfDefense.org which helps its content spread further across the Internet.
