A bizarre article that claims a stripper from Miami was arrested for squirting “vaginal fluids” at police officers is spreading on social media.
Perhaps helping the article gain some traction is the observation by many social media users that the stripper in question allegedly bears a striking resemblance to comedian Amy Poehler.

MIAMI STRIPPER ARRESTED FOR SQUIRTING VAGINAL FLUIDS AT POLICE OFFICERS IN SELF-DEFENSE
A Florida lap dancer has been arrested in Miami after assaulting five police officers with her vagina and using it as a deadly weapon without the intent to kill.
However the article is fake, coming from a well-known spoof website WorldNewsDailyReport.com. The incident outlined in the article did not happen, and the woman in the mugshot was not arrested for such a crime (nor is she Amy Poehler.)
The WorldNewsDailyReport.com website is popular for creating spoof stories designed to lie on the cusp of believability, thus luring visitors into sharing their stories on the notion that they are real, albeit crazy, new stories. The site specialises in posting fake “crazy crime” articles.

The banner that runs across the top of the website reads “where facts don’t matter“. A disclaimer along the bottom reads “World News Daily Report assumes all responsibility for the satirical nature of its articles and for the fictional nature of their content.”
A search of the mugshot image reveals the woman – who is certainly not Amy Poehler – was one of 18 women arrested back in 2008 for questionable activities in a Texas “Gentlemen’s Club”.
As such we rank the story false.
